Tutoring has been my "hobby" ever since high school. I would tutor my classmates and friends. I went to college in Europe (Belgium) where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. I worked as a private tutor in Math and the Sciences to complement my scholarship. I eventually ended up in New york for my Masters. There I created private tutoring network. Very good first meeting. Makunda, it seems might be a perfect fit for my son. He was prompt arriving about 15 minutes before the session. Once at my home, he got straight to the point. He wasted no time. I don't know if this was is his style or if he perceived that this style would work for my son but his style of teaching was firm and straight to the point. If I am paying for private tutoring, I want someone to get straight to the point with my son. Might be a perfect fit but only time will confirm this.
